Zurich walking tour

Today, we went on a walking tour, by ourselves so it wasn't really a tour. Mommy's book helped us go around the city and find these cool things.

This is a very small water fountain. You can drink out of it if you head is small enough. My head was not small enough.

This is a water fountain by the police station. There were water fountains EVERY WHERE in Zurich so we were never thirsty.

This is the full water fountain.

This is me and my brother at a playground. There was a good climbing tree so we climbed it.

One of the really OLD churches in Zurich.

This is the Grossmunster. It literally means big cathedral. You can climb 187 stairs to the top and look over Zurich. We did that!

This is a statue honoring the ladies who saved the city from an invasion in 1292.

We have seen a couple of these big chess boards in Switzerland.

This is a REALLY big clock tower. It's diameter is 28 feet!

This is me, my brother and my mom. We were next to the chess players.

The really big church again

This is the very top of the Grossmunster.

This is Logan and I on the top of the church. The stairs going to the top were VERY narrow. It was so narrow that two people couldn't really walk by each other in the stairwell.

We went to this very, very, very fancy chocolate place called, Sprungli. They sold truffles, chocolates, breads, sandwiches, brioche rolls with truffles inside! Daddy really likes brioche so we got four of these to take home. They were AWESOME!  We also bought some macaroons that were so good that they are hard to describe.

Going To Technorama

This is  the fire tornado.
Hey, we went to Technorama and it's a really fun place to learn about science. They have hands on exhibits and I'm going to tell you the most cool things a FIRE TORNADO and the sound of Wood.

This is a complex machine and the purpose of the machine is to get one ball to a place.

This is a pinpression.
This is a line of balls that when you drop it they will bounce really high.

Making Cookies

Hey! Today, we had nothing to do so we decided to make COOKIES. The first batch got burnt so we put Nutella on them. That made them really yummy! Tonight I'm helping to make tacos for dinner.

Interlocken

On Thursday, we went to Interloken. We stayed at a hotel called, Hotel Derby. It was really nice. Logan and I had our own room!  Here are some of the things we did!

St Beatus caves this is the main entrance.
Inside the caves.
This is the chocolate show. It is at a fancy chocolate company. During the show they made Silver Mounds, high heel shoes, and we made are own truffle pops. Here are the directions of how to make the Silver Mounds,
1. You need a tiny mold.
2. You fill each mold piece with chocolate. Then, scrape the extra chocolate off and then dump it so the chocolate is thin.
3. Put in fridge for 2 min.
4.Take out, and fill with caramel.
5.Put in fridge for 2 min.
6. Take out and put chocolate over it. Scrape the extra chocolate off.
7. Put in fridge for 25 min.
8. Take out of fridge then you are done!

(I want to try it when we get home)
